At Knighton Mead, we believe that personal, social, health and citizenship education (PSHCE) enables our children to become healthy, independent and responsible members of society.
We aim to help them understand how they are developing personally and socially, and tackle many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up. PSHCE is at the heart of our school ethos.
Furthermore, the Character Muscles reflect our aim to build the ‘ultimate learners’. Each Character Muscle represents a different quality of what it means to be a good citizen. These qualities help our children develop positive attitudes towards learning, reflect on their work and become responsible citizens who are resilient and equipped for lifelong learning.
